A Call To Remember God's Goodness

"But watch out! Be careful never to forget what you yourself have seen. Do not let these memories escape from your mind as long as you live! And be sure to pass them on to your children and grandchildren. Never forget the day when you stood before the Lord your God at Mount Sinai, where he told me, 'Summon the people before me, and I will personally instruct them. Then they will learn to fear me as long as they live, and they will teach their children to fear me also." Deuteronomy 4:9-10

To keep that fire for Christ burning, you have to always remember where God brought you out from. Remembering the good deeds God has done in your life renews your love for God. There is a feeling of reverence and worship that goes along with remembering. When you remember, you recognize that you're fallible, and that it is only by God's grace that you are where you are. But when you choose to forget how God delivered you, you begin to take credit for the things God has done in your life. Before long, you'll see no need for God, as you've already assumed his role in your life. Always remember the many ways God has blessed you and please share it with anyone who cares to listen. It takes humility to share what God has done for you. Always have this mindset in John 3:30, "He must increase, but I must decrease." Praise God!

Please, please read Deuteronomy 8:6-19. So much truth in these verses

Thanks so much!
